I had the best experience at Guest House Mara in Vela Luka. The owner, Marijanka, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, even bringing homemade sweets when my ferry was delayed. The house is super clean with a great terrace and fast internet. Parking is available, which is a bonus. I highly recommend this place.

We were pleasantly surprised by the great location of this affordable accommodation. Just a short walk to the ferry, we had easy access to explore the area. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with a small fridge and appropriate dishes available to use. The quiet courtyard was an added bonus.

We were warmly welcomed by the owner's husband, who even went out of his way to pick us up from the main road to ensure we didn't get lost. The cozy patio with the big orange tree in the middle was just as inviting as the pictures showed. We highly recommend grilling some fish from the local market as the quality is superb. The room was tidy and neat, providing a comfortable stay.

Although the mattress was a bit saggy, it didn't hinder us from enjoying our stay.
